Namibian Cabinet Announced TAC for Hake and Monkfish Tuesday,May 19,2009 Posted: 22:00 BJT(00 GMT)   From:驻纳米比亚使馆经商处    Article type:Redistributed Namibian Cabinet on Monday(May 11,2009) announced it had decided on a Total Allowable Catch (TAC) of 135 000 tonnes for hake-5 000 tonnes more than the last season, and 8 500 tonnes for monkfish for the 2009-2010 fishing season. The fishing season this year opened on 1 May and will run up to 31 April next year. The hake TAC will be shared among Namibia’s 38 hake-fishing companies and the Namibia Fish Consumption Promotion Trust, which has been allocated 1 000 tonnes of the quota.
